How to clean Italian charm bracelets
Share
Your ICON Bracelet is designed to last. Made of high-quality stainless steel, it doesn't require much maintenance, but with a few simple steps you can keep it as shiny as the first day.
Why is it important to clean your bracelet?
Although stainless steel is durable, daily use can leave traces of lotion, sweat, dust, or salt water. Cleaning your Italian charm bracelet regularly not only improves its appearance, but also extends its life and maintains the quality of the finish.
How often should I clean it?
We recommend a quick cleanse every 1-2 weeks if you use it daily, and a deeper cleanse once a month, especially if you expose it to the sea, pool, or perfume.
Steps to clean your ICON Bracelet at home:
1. Warm water and neutral soap
Fill a bowl with warm (not hot) water and add a few drops of mild soap. Avoid harsh or chemical soaps.
2. Scrub with a soft cloth or soft bristle brush
Dip it in and gently rub the bracelet and charms to remove any dirt. For smaller areas, you can use a soft toothbrush.
3. Rinse well and dry completely
Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with a microfiber or cotton cloth. Avoid leaving it wet or exposed to direct sunlight.
What to avoid to keep your bracelet perfect
- Avoid applying perfumes, alcohol or abrasive products directly to the bracelet.
- Do not store it in humid places (such as the bathroom).
- Avoid rubbing against other jewelry or metals to prevent scratches.
- If you're not going to use it for a while, store it in an individual bag or box.
